Psalm 121:1-8 (a Devotional Reflection)

Psalm 121:1-8 I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber. Behold, the Protector of Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is the shade on your right hand. The sun will not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will guard you from all evil; He will preserve your soul. The LORD will watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore. Gracious God, my Protector and Keeper, As I lift my eyes, seeking help, I acknowledge You as the Maker of heaven and earth, The One who never slumbers nor sleeps. Watch over me, Lord God, as I journey through my valleys, Guide my steps and guard me from harm. May Your hand be upon me as a shield, And Your presence ever near as my refuge. In times of trouble, be my strength and my peace, For You are the source of my strength and salvation. Help me to trust in

Psalm 1:1-6 (a Devotional Reflection)

Psalm 1:1-6 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or set foot on the path of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the Law of the LORD, and on His law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding its fruit in season, whose leaf does not wither, and who prospers in all he does. Not so the wicked! For they are like chaff driven off by the wind. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the LORD guards the path of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Heavenly Father, source of all wisdom and truth,  As I meditate on Your Word day and night, may I be like a tree planted by streams of water, bearing fruit in season, and never withering. Give me the strength to delight in Your law, and to walk in Your ways faithfully. Shield me from the counsel of the wicked, and guide me along the path of righteousness. Let Your Word be my

‭1 Samuel 17:37‬ (a Devotional Reflection)

‭1 Samuel 17:37‬ David added, “The Lord, who delivered me from the claws of the lion and the bear, will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” “Go,” said Saul, “and may the Lord be with you.” Heavenly Father, I am in awe of Your greatness and power. As David declared to King Saul his unwavering faith in You, I, too, declare my trust in Your mighty deliverance. Lord God, I acknowledge that You are my protector and defender. Just as You guided and empowered David to defeat Goliath, I ask for Your strength to face the giants in my life. Help me to remember that no challenge is too great when I walk in faith and obedience to You. Fill me with the courage and boldness that comes from knowing You are with me. Remind me that the same God who delivered David is my God, unchanging and ever-present. When fear and doubt threaten to overwhelm me, let me cling to the promises of Your Word, knowing that You are my refuge and fortress. I surrender my battles to You, Lord God, and trust in Your

Habakkuk 3:17-19 (a Devotional Reflection)

Habakkuk 3:17-19 Though the fig tree does not bud and no fruit is on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though the sheep are cut off from the fold and no cattle are in the stalls, yet I will exult in the LORD; I will rejoice in the God of my salvation! GOD the Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like those of a deer; He makes me walk upon the heights! Heavenly Father, I come with a grateful heart, even in the face of trials and uncertainties. Lord God, I acknowledge that my strength and hope come from You alone. You are my Sovereign Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Just as You gave Habakkuk the feet of a deer to walk upon the heights, I ask for Your strength to navigate the peaks and valleys of my life with sure-footed confidence and trust. In times of abundance and in times of lack, may my heart always sing of Your faithfulness. Let me find my joy not in the fleeting treasures of this world, but in the eternal promise of Your love and salvation. Emp

Matthew 6:9-13 (a Devotional Reflection)

Matthew 6:9-13 “So then, this is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
